The Lady Redskins track team continued their success last week in Shelbyville. They finished second out of four teams, falling short of the host by 27 points. They still had plenty of dominant performances throughout the meet though.
Long distance is being owned by Julia Moody this year. Already breaking and then re-breaking her own record in the 3200m during previous meets, she had her eyes set on the 1600m record. A glance at the school records now will show her name holding both records. She broke the previous record by ten second, finishing the mile at 5:23.93. Moody did not compete in the 3200m during this meet.
