Students Receive Prizes on McTeacher Night
Students recently attended McTeacher Night at the local McDonald’s and had their names drawn for some incredible prizes. McDonald’s in Sullivan has sponsored McTeacher Night for the last 10 years and donates $1,000 annually to the Sullivan PTO. They have given away a total of $10,000 in cash and $5,000 in prizes over the last 10 years. This year’s winners include Skyla Palmer, Lucy Barringer, Ryan Lawyer, Jayden Troxell, Kiley Dyer, Reagan Crouse, Matt Welch, Curtis Kite, Drew Rogers. and Mitchell Hooten.

Grand Ole Opry star Lorrie Morgan will highlight the entertainment at the 84th annual Moultrie-Douglas County Fair July 6-12 at the fairgrounds in Arthur. Morgan’s appearance is sponsored by C.H.I. Lane Celebrates 30 Years at Donnelleys
Scott Lane celebrated his 30th service anniversary with RR Donnelley on March 25.
Lane was hired at RR Donnelley in 1984 as part-time task force. He became full-time material handler later that year. Lane was then promoted to roll tender in the gravure pressroom in 1989, to assistant press lead in 1996, and to press lead, his current position in 2000.
Lane and his wife, Selena, reside in Sullivan and have two children and two grandchildren.
