Bea was born July 27, 1927 in Lovington, a daughter of James and Leta Bell Miller. She married Carl K. Cummings December 13, 1941 in St. Louis, Mo., and he preceded her in death August 19, 1992. Lucille M. Tessier passed away at 2:05 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2016 in St. Mary’s Hospital in Decatur.
Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, June 27 in Marrowbone Township Cemetery in Bethany with Deacon John O’Brien officiating. Arrangements are by Reed Funeral Home in Sullivan.
Lucille was born May 22, 1923 in Spruce, Wisconsin, a daughter of Louis T. and Ann G. Massard Tessier. She was a homemaker but returned to school at the age of 50 and received a degree in computers. She then went to work for Colorado National Bank and then retired in 1985. Lucille attended St. Columcille Catholic Church in Sullivan. She married Orville Kuhlmann in 1939 in Oconto Falls, Wisconsin, and he preceded her in death in 1945. She then married Arthur Judd in 1946 in Dubuque, Iowa, and he preceded her in death in 1991. He was born June 18, 1928, a son of Royal C. and Marie Rentfro Williams, on his grandparents’ farm near Stewardson. During his lifetime he lived in Decatur, Bement, Sullivan, Atwood and Monticello.
