A funeral service to honor the life of Forrest Ferguson, 87 years, one month and 17 days, of Sullivan was held at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Lake Land Church of Christ with minister Ron Bartenan officiating. Burial with military rites was in Ash Grove Cemetery in rural Shelby County. Edwards Funeral Home in Arcola assisted with the arrangements.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Monday in McMullin-Young Funeral Home in Lovington. Visitation is one hour before the services. Burial with military rites by Lovington American Legion Post #429 will be in Hewitt Cemetery in Lovington.
