Bart Qualls Bart W. Qualls, 53, of Sullivan, passed away at 3:34 p.m. Thursday September 13, 2018 in Sullivan. Celebration of Life services will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Pastor Charliam Renner officiating. Visitation will be 4-6 p.m. Tuesday. Memorials are suggested to the Sullivan School District or the Sullivan United Methodist Church Honduras Mission Team. Online condolences may be sent to the family at reedfuneralhome.net. Gregg Alan Taylor Gregg Alan Taylor, 67, of Sullivan, Illinois passed away in his home September 11, 2018 surrounded by his family. Gregg was a second generation Eastern Illinois alumni and married Evelyn Sandrisser in 1981. He is survived by their daughters, Kali of Sullivan and Lauren of Evansville, Indiana and his sister Jan Nichols of Mattoon. His father Kenneth passed away in August of 1991 and mother Norma in December of 2005. As per his wishes, his body will be donated to cancer research, and there will be no services held at this time. New Scuplture Greets Sullivan Tabor Park Visitors

•September 12, 2018• Tabor Park has a new sentry with impressive credentials. An American Eagle sculpture was placed in the center lawn at the entry of the park on August 30. Park Supt. Special Olympics Illinois Athletes Compete in Festival

•September 12, 2018• The 2018 Outdoor Sports Festival will take place at Rotary Park and Hickory Point Golf Course in Decatur September 8 and 9. This event is one of nine state sports competitions. It is the final competition for those participating in softball and golf. Young athletes will have the opportunity to participate in both softball skills and golf skills. Over 650 athletes and 20 Unified partners compete over this weekend and bring the joy of sport to Decatur.
