Area Athletes Earn All Area Honors

•June 27, 2018• The News-Gazette announced its All-Area track and field teams last week. Several area athletes earned honors. For Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond boys’ team, senior distance runner Logan Hall earned all-area first team honors. Senior high jumper Kobe Wells earned all-area second team honors. Freshman distance runner Layton Hall and junior middle-distance runner Austin Romine were named to the honorable mention team. IDNR Seeks Developer for Eagle Creek

•June 20, 2018• Eagle Creek Resort has been closed for nearly a decade, with the state still asking for ideas for the decaying resort along Lake Shelbyville IDNR officials rejected the one proposal it recently received for the Eagle Creek facility according to IDNR’s Ed Cross. He said the state was still hoping to find a private developer for the facility in Eagle Creek State Park. •June 20, 2018• Soyland Access to Independent Living (SAIL) will hold a Personal Assistant Orientation for people interested in working as a personal assistant. The orientation is 10 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Tuesday, June 26 at the Shelbyville SAIL Office, 1604 West Main, Suite 100 in Shelbyville. There will be a break for lunch.
