•December 6, 2017• Rory Hite, a sixth grade student at Windsor Elementary School in Windsor has started a “Blankets for the Homeless” drive. “It is all about how the homeless people don’t have many blankets, and I would just like to help them by giving them blankets,” Hite said. 25 Years Ago This Week The first Santa’s Workshop had 350 pre-school to fifth grade children gathered at the Sullivan American Legion. The two and a half hour workshop entertained children with everything from Santa visits and lunch to cookie decorating. This allowed parents time to get things ready for the season while children were supervised by capable volunteers.
