•July 12, 2017• During the June 12 Lovington Village board session president Roger Walker appointed Brenda Wood as trustee. Wood fills the seat vacated by Walker and completes his term which expires 2019. All members approved the recommendation. Fireworks coordinator Jake Kamm presented details surrounding the Junefest fireworks display which included barricades and safety personnel at the school field. There were 61 entries in the Stanley Guin Turtle Races.
