It is an all day event that starts off at 7 a.m. with a softball tournament, bake sale and 50/50, a huge indoor raffle. He was born January 18, 1946 in Shelbyville, Illinois to his loving parents Lois Aileen (Gordon) and Gilbert Franklin Uphoff (deceased). He joined his three siblings Connie Yantis (deceased), Duane (Marjorie) Uphoff and Stanley (Pat) Uphoff. •May 24, 2017• Moultrie County Circuit Clerk Cindy Braden was appointed chairperson of the Committee on Circuit Court Clerk Education by the Illinois Supreme Court last week in an announcement from Chief Justice Lloyd A. Karmeier. Braden’s appointment is effective July 1, 2017 when she presides over the 14 member Judicial College committee responsible for continuing eduction of the state’s circuit clerks. As required by law, the county clerk’s office is in the process of completing a purge of Moultrie County voters.
