Santa picture Bingo

•November 27, 2024• The Sullivan American Legion will be hosting a Santa picture Bingo on Saturday, December 7th from 8-11am at the Legion, 8 E Strain Street. Featuring a bake sale and a large breakfast of AYCE pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, donuts and fruit with choice of drinks being orange juice, milk and chocolate milk. Entry fees for guests 12 and up will be $8 and children under 12 have an entry fee of $5 with Bingo games only being  $.25 cents per game. Dine with a Doc

•November 27, 2024• The Mid-Illinois Senior Services Center, in collaboration with Senior Education Ministries of Terre Haute, is set to host a free lunch while dining with a doctor. Allowing seniors a chance to relax and eat while listening and ask questions from 11am to 1pm December 3rd. During the three hour lunch, seniors can expect fellowship with peers, door prizes and conversation with a doctor. On Route 133 between Lovington and Arthur, power poles fell as a result of the storm systems that hit central Illinois in two waves on Wednesday, June 17th. These storms left many without power and caused widespread damage throughout the area, including confirmed tornado touchdowns in nearby counties.
