SHS Girls Track Team Finishes Fourth

•May 10, 2023• The SHS Girls Track Team had a very successful CIC meet on Thursday, May 4 hosted by Central A & M. They won 5 events and had 6 athletes that received All Conference Accolades for the first time in over 15 years. As a team they finished in 4th place with 115 points, losing to the defending State Champions of Tuscola and a very talented group of ladies from Shelbyville. SHS Girls Track Finishes First at Redskin Invite

•May 10, 2023• SHS Girls Track finished in 1st place with 134 points at the 10 Team Redskin Invite Monday, May 1. They had some outstanding performances to finish off their regular season heading into Conference on Thursday, May 4. Riane Bear finished 1st in the High Jump, along with Izzy Hay picking up wins in the Triple Jump and 100 Hurdles. Sofia Nuzzo also won the Pole Vault, while the 4 x 100 and 4 x 200 relays of Madalyn Booker, Cassidy Short, Alaina Moore, and Jalexis Bennett dominated the field picking up two more wins. Moultrie County History Center to Host Holocaust Survivor

•May 10, 2023• Holocaust survivor William Gingold will give a presentation at the Moultrie County History Center in Sullivan Thursday, May 18, at 7 p.m. as a part of the Center’s month-long hosting of the “The Auschwitz Experience in the Art of Prisoners” art exhibit. Doors will open at 6 p.m., and the event is free. “This year we commemorate the 80th anniversary of the Warsaw Ghetto Uprising. SES Preschool carnival a hit

On Thursday, May 15th SES and PTO sponsored a Preschool Carnival that included lunch, face painting, bounce houses, snow cone truck, playground activities, and games set up by sponsoring attendees.
