Former Sullivan Man to Make Boxing History December 5

•November 22, 2023• Hendersonville, Tennessee’s Scot England will earn a unique title when he steps into the boxing ring in Nashville on December 5th. The soon-to-be 59-year-old will become the oldest professional welterweight boxer in the world. “My boxing dream began four decades ago when I became friends with my hero, Muhammad Ali,” says England. “The first time I walked into Ali’s living room, he asked, ‘Are you a boxer?’ I said, ‘No, Champ. Lady Redskins Drop Home Opener in Close Game Against Mt. Zion

•November 22, 2023• by E. Scott England The Lady Redskins lost their home opener against the Lady Braves of Mt. Zion last Monday. It was a fast paced game that saw several lead changes. Mt. Zion prevailed at the final buzzer winning 51-49. The Lady Redskins came out hot in the start, racking up 15 points in the first quarter. Kiley Dyer hit two three’s while Aeralyn Thrasher added one of her own. Addison Minor had four first quarter points and several rebounds. To all dog owners of Sullivan the following may concern you: First of all I’m a veteran and disabled. My mail was held about 3 weeks ago, with no notification. So I had to go to the post office to see what the problem was. They said their carrier felt unsafe due to my dog. My dog is a play dog and would never hurt anyone.
