Drive Thru Dinner

•March 1, 2023• A drive thru dinner fundraiser for OV scholarships will be held on Monday, March 20 from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at Findlay American Legion. The meal includes homemade chicken and noodles, mashed potatoes, green beans, dinner roll and Texas sheet cake. Tickets are $10 in advance only. Tickets will be sold from March 7-17. Sullivan Swimming Co-Op to Compete at State Competition

•February 22, 2023• submitted by Kim Drury Sullivan Swimming Co-Op competed at the IHSA Sectional meet in Champaign on Saturday, February 18th. The boys had a phenomenal day of swimming. Started off with the 200 medley relay taking first place and confirming a trip to the State Competition. Relay members were Ethan Schmohe, Liam Donovan, Isaac Chambers and Matthew Wesselman. Ethan Schmohe in the 100 backstroke took first place, heading to State, plus broke the Sullivan High School record, Champaign pool record and the IHSA Section meet record. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
