•September 14, 2022• The Community College Trustee Election will be held April 4, 2023, as part of the 2023 consolidated election. Three six-year terms will appear on the Lake Land College ballot. The three terms are held by Doris Reynolds, Mattoon, Mike Sullivan, Mattoon, and Denise Walk, Teutopolis. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
