Lake Shelbyville Youth Deer Hunt Applications Available

•August 31, 2022• The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville will hold the 12th Annual Youth Firearm Deer Hunt on October 8 and 9, 2022. To apply for the hunt, youth applicants must be less than 18 years old on October 8, 2022 and be accompanied by an adult. Applications must be received by 8:00 a.m. on September 19, 2022. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
