Loop Lake Shelbyville Bike Ride Lake

•June 1, 2022• The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and Friends of Lake Shelbyville are excited to be hosting the Loop Lake Shelbyville bike ride on Saturday, June 11th, 2022. All rides will start from the Lake Shelbyville Visitor and will include options for a 22 mile, 34 mile, 48 mile or a 65 mile ride. •June 1, 2022• The University of Illinois Extension, in cooperating partnership with Decatur Catholic Charities and Sullivan United Methodist Church will be holding a mobile food pantry on Wednesday, June 22 from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm at Sullivan United Methodist Church, 216 W. Jefferson in Sullivan (across from the firehouse). A mobile food pantry delivers a 2 week supply of food per family in rural communities. Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
