25 Years Ago This Week Luke Standerfer and Nick Parks went to state in track and came out successful. Standerfer captured a state title in the 3200 and Parks claimed second in the same event. D&D Liquidation, a new business in Sullivan, scheduled a grand opening. Dave Eckel was owner of the store. The store sold products that were overstocked or discontinued by companies and retailers. ALAH Holds Commencement for Class of 2022

Sullivan celebrates America’s 250th

The annual Fourth of July parade kicked off a fun filled day of celebration hosted by the Sullivan American Legion Saturday.  Wyman Park was the next destination for the always entertaining watermelon eating contest, turtle races and sack races. At dusk, an amazing fireworks display capped off the festivities. More photos can be found on page 12.
