LLC Historic Reduction in Tuition

•March 16 2022• Lake Land College is taking a historic step in support of its students and the community by reducing tuition for next year and making college more affordable than ever during a time of rapidly expanding inflation. The Lake Land College Board of Trustees is expected to set in-district tuition at $100 per credit hour, down from $110.50, during the regular meeting on Monday, March 14 at 6 p.m. The new tuition rate, which represents a near 10% reduction, will go into effect for the Summer 2022, Fall 2022 and Spring 2023 terms. Joyce Holloway Joyce “Elaine” Holloway, 76, of Monticello, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving husband and three children on March 12 at 7:15 pm. A visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until noon at Mackey-Wright funeral home in Monticello March 17 followed by a celebration of Elaine’s life starting at noon officiated by Pastor Jeff Bealmear.
