•September 29, 2021• Cross Country Boys The Sullivan boys’ cross county team competed in the St. Joseph-Ogden Spartan Classic Saturday, Sept. 25. The Redskins placed 21st out of 23 teams. For Sullivan, Cody Browne placed 98th with a time of 18:42.62, and Clayton Schmohe finished in 106th place at 19:04.09. Pritzker Signs New Legislative Maps

•September 29, 2021• By Capitol News Illinois Despite opposition from Republicans as well as reform groups, Gov. JB Pritzker on Friday signed into law the revised state legislative district maps that lawmakers passed in August, opening the door to almost certain court challenges. “These legislative maps align with the landmark Voting Rights Act and will help ensure Illinois’ diversity is reflected in the halls of government,” Pritzker said in a statement. Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation.
