25 Years Ago This Week The Moultrie County Regional Planning Commission approved the proposed Schable Acres subdivision east of Sullivan. The recommendation was sent to the Moultrie County Board for approval. The Schable Acres subdivision was to be developed by First National Bank of Sullivan Trust 689 and was to consist of 15 lots surrounded by a cul-de-sac. Concerns were raised over drainage. Arthur-Lovington opened their football season at LOVC rival Hume-Shiloh. The Knights beat the Raiders 36-14. … Read More

White Awards Over $18 Million in Public Library Aid Grants
