All of these words describe Marion Blumenthal Lazan, a Holocaust survivor, who gave a Zoom presentation to Sullivan Middle and High School students May 13. 25 Years Ago This Week One of the biggest stars of The Little Theatre On The Square’s 39th season was the new air-conditioning unit installed over the winter. The improved air-conditioning system and the schedule for 1996 indicated an exciting season of theatre for audiences. Lovington High School hosted three foreign exchange students and Sullivan High School had one. They were Ben Dieplinger, Pablo Lainez, Michael Seifert, Cecile Agullo. Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation. Pictured (left to right) are Cameron Martin, Taylor Lilly, James Martin, Marla Martin and Angela McRill following the July 27 delivery.
