Sullivan Girls’ Basketball Posts Wins

•February 24, 2021• by Jason Brown NP Sports The Sullivan girls’ basketball team picked up two more wins this week, including knocking off the No. 8 ranked Clinton Maroons. Earlier in this month, Sullivan lost to No. 1 ranked Paris. Thursday night, the Redskins knocked Clinton out of the top-ten state rankings with a 66-45 win. •February 17, 2021• by Jason Brown NP Sports Despite a pandemic, new regulations, and a long wait for the season, the Sullivan’s girls’ basketball team has more or less started the season where it had left off the last several seasons. By winning. Sullivan picked up two more Central Illinois Conference wins this past week. The Redskins knocked off Warrensburg-Latham Thursday and Shelbyville last Monday. “Together, We Give Back to School”

Sullivan Elementary School recently received 60 backpacks filled with school supplies through Amazon’s “Together, We Give Back to School” campaign. End of the Line Tackle & Bait, an Amazon delivery partner, nominated Sullivan Elementary for the program, and the school’s submission was selected to receive the donation. Pictured (left to right) are Cameron Martin, Taylor Lilly, James Martin, Marla Martin and Angela McRill following the July 27 delivery.
