Pauline Boehm Pauline Mae Boehm, 95, of Westervelt went peacefully to her Heavenly Home at 5:55 a.m. Sunday, December 20, 2020 in her residence. A graveside service for family and friends was held at 1 p.m. Saturday, December 26 in Findlay Cemetery in Findlay with the the Rev. Roger Quarton officiating. A celebration of life service will be held at a later date. Arrangements are by Howe and Yockey Funeral Home, in Shelbyville. 25 Years Ago This Week The city of Sullivan and the surrounding area was paralyzed by a dangerous snow storm. Seven or more inches of snow has fallen to the ground on top of what was left from the snowstorm which hit the week before Christmas. The snow, combined with brisk winds, has left people stranded in the country and in town. The initial fundraising campaign of the recently formed Sullivan Community Education Foundation is off to a very strong start. Kenneth Cole Kenneth E. Cole, 81, of Mesa, Arizona (formerly of Sullivan) died peacefully in his sleep at home December 17, 2020. Ken was born April 14, 1939, in Sullivan, a son of Ora and Doris Cole. He married Donna Reedy in 1965. Ken served in the U.S. Army, worked in the grocery business in Sullivan, and retired from PPG as an electronic technician. Ken was quite skilled in repairing everything from a roof to an engine to a TV. He enjoyed spending time with his family, reading the Bible, and attending church.
