LuAnn Richardson LuAnn Richardson, 64, of Arthur, IL passed away at 5:38 P.M. on Thursday, December 24, 2020 at Sarah Bush Lincoln Heath Center in Mattoon, IL. Celebration of LuAnn’s life will be held at a later date.  The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements. Marjorie A. Luck Marjorie A. Luck, 83, of Bethany, passed away at 6:03 p.m.  Thursday, December 24, 2020 in her home surrounded by her family. Celebration of Life services will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday at the Reed Funeral Home, Sullivan with Adam McReynolds officiating.  Burial will be in the Marrowbone Twp. Gifts For Nursing Home Residents

•December 23, 2020• Dawn Kelley and her children Austin and Annika decided to make gifts for those living in nursing homes for Christmas. They made bracelets for the women and bought socks for the men. “We have a lot of friends on Facebook that have relatives in nursing homes,” said Dawn. “We just wanted to do something to spread cheer to those in nursing homes in Sullivan.” In total she and her children made 214 bracelets and bought 137 pairs of men’s socks to give to those in the nursing homes. … Read More

A couple weeks ago, the Decatur Herald & Review named Dorjahn the 2020 Cross Country Coach of the Year. Sunday, the Champaign News Gazette announced that Dorjahn was the All-Area Boys’ Cross-Country Coach of the Year. Dorjahn took over as head coach of the Arthur-Lovington-Atwood-Hammond boys’ cross country team in 2019. Dorjahn guided his teams to two straight regional titles and a sectional title.
