City Council Approves Motion to Hire Firm

According to Mayor Richard Glazebrook, they are seeking someone to advise the council with what avenue should be taken. Jud Cameron Judson J. ‘Jud’ Cameron, 84, of Sullivan, passed away at 3:53 a.m. Friday December 11, 2020 at Decatur Memorial Hospital. Jud was born June 15, 1936 in Highland Park, Illinois, the son of Judson Eugene and Emma Spitzer Cameron. He attended Newton Community High School and graduated from Eastern Illinois University with his bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in administration. He also attained a specialist degree from Eastern Illinois University. Jud had been employed by the Sullivan School District for thirty-three years as a social studies teacher and football coach.
