Applications for the 2021-2022 academic year are due Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m. Students graduating from high school, adults who are enrolling at Lake Land College and current students are encouraged to apply. Students who received a Lake Land College Foundation Scholarship for the current academic year and wish to be considered for a 2021-2022 award must reapply. North Lake Community Development Receives $84,000 Grant
•November 18, 2020• By Crystal Reed NP Writer Laurrie Minor, director of the Sullivan Chamber of Commerce and Economic Development announced to the Sullivan City Council that the North Lake Community Development, a non-profit under the Sullivan Chamber and Economic Development had been awarded a $84,000 grant from the Lumpkin Foundation to improve the end of Tabor Trail to the road past the sewer plant. Ninth Confirmed COVID-19 Related Death
•November 18, 2020• It is with great sadness that the Moultrie County Health Department (MCHD) confirms a ninth COVID-19 related death of a Moultrie County male resident in his 70s. “We send our deepest condolences to his friends and family, and ask for their privacy during this difficult time,” Angela Hogan, Administrator for the Moultrie County Health Department, said. “The MCHD will release no additional information.” To date, 703 Moultrie County residents have tested positive for COVID-19, which includes eight previous COVID-19 related deaths. Georgia, Jamie, Pam and Mary spend countless hours preparing for early voting, absentee voting, in-person voting, and curbside voting, making sure that every eligible voter could exercise his/her Constitutional right to vote.
