Pritzker’s announcement to move basketball from a medium risk sport to a high-risk sport last Tuesday caught nearly every athletic director, coach and player in the state completely off guard. To add more confusion and frustration around the topic, the following day, the IHSA stated that basketball would be a local decision, and the basketball season will start on Monday, Nov. 16. The lab is available to students in kindergarten through 12th grade and has a wide variety of activities.
