That is because it is the monarch migration season and these black and orange beauties are heading down to Mexico! Busy Week for SHS Girls Golf Team

Thursday (26th), the Redskins lost to St. Teresa and Tri-Valley at Ironhorse in Tuscola. Miriah Booker led the Redskins, followed by Erin Wallace, Alyssa Shriver and Lara Herschberger. Wednesday (25th), the team competed in Effingham and again were led by Miriah Booker, followed by Erin Wallace, Alyssa Shriver and (tie bewteen) Morgan Moll and Lara Herschberger. •October 2, 2019• Rikki Ray Selected Sullivan High School Alumni Who’s Who By Ellen Ferrera for the News Progress Rikki Ray, a 1990 Sullivan High School graduate, has had a lifelong affair with books so she was destined to found the One Book, One Sullivan (OBOS) program to help promote literacy and a sense of community. Ray was selected by the SHS Alumni Association for the Who’s Who Award presented at the annual banquet Oct. 5 at Building 1225 in Sullivan. Sullivan Golf Team Knocks off Teutopolis Finish 26-0 for Season
•October 2, 2019• By Jason Brown NP Sports Editor The Sullivan boys’ golf team finished the regular season 26-0 by knocking off Teutopolis 158-196 Monday. Logan Westjohn was Medalist with a score of 39, and Leyton Ellis also shot a 39. Drew Rogers and Aiden Short each followed with a score of 40. Camden Dwyer shot a 42, and Gary Herschberger carded a 46. Thursday (26th), Sullivan defeated Tuscola, Tri-Valley, and St. Teresa with a score of 161 at Ironhorse. •October 2, 2019• Oktoberfest is returning to the Sullivan square beginning with the 6:00 p.m. Friday Oct. 18th parade. On Friday Artoberfest and Kids Corner opens with Inflatables and bumper cars.
