Letter To The Editor, Last Friday evening, Mason Point sponsored another concert in their summer series at Tabor Park. Mackville, an entertaining gospel/bluegrass band from the Arthur-Atwood area, provided an hour of well-done traditional music. The weather was ideal, and Tabor Park is a great setting for their style of music. Waterman was nominated for going above and beyond to provide exceptional care to her patients and support to her coworkers. In a nomination letter, her coworkers shared the following examples: “Amber quickly recognized something was amiss when caring for a patient after surgery. Commissioner Abbey Sherwood moved that the city attempt to purchase some or all of the real estate held by the Winifred Titus Sentel Trust at public auction or any other type of public sale. Steam Threshing Days Return

•August 7, 2019• Steam Threshing Days at the Illinois Amish Heritage Center near Arthur drew area crowds to experience Amish farming operations while also enjoying breakfast and supper during the Aug. 2 and 3 event. The horse treadmill and broom corn threshing were new additions for the annual gathering.
