•October 4, 2017•

For the first time this season, the Arthur-Lovington/Atwood-Hammond volleyball team failed to reach one of its goals.

After knocking off Decatur Lutheran 25-11, 25-13, in the first round of the Little Okaw Valley Conference tournament they lost an upset to Cerro Gordo (25-15, 25-21) for the Knights’ first loss of the season.

“The LOVC tournament has definitely been a disappointment to the Knights,” said ALAH coach Emily Crossman. “We set a team goal early in the season to win the tournament, including the other side of our conference, also. However, taking our first loss earlier in the season than expected will be a good thing as far as preparing us for tough matches in the future.”
