America’s Farmers Grow Ag Leaders is now launching in 40 states, with more than $500,000 worth of scholarships available. Sponsored by the Monsanto Fund, the program provides $1,500 college scholarships to students pursuing a degree related to agriculture. The second annual Okaw Valley dodgeball tournament will benefit Crowder Park Overlot Memorial Scoreboard and will be held Sunday, November 9 at Okaw Valley High School.

Admission will be nonperishable good to be used in Gobbler Giveaway
Saturday November 1, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m., Sullivan Church of God will be hosting an event for Relay For Life called Crafting for the Cure. This event will raise funds for the American Cancer Society. There are over 25 vendors coming with a large variety of goods and crafts to sell. This will be a place to pick up that Christmas present. Admission fee is easy, just bring some of the following: canned corn, green beans, cranberry sauce, gray or yams, or boxed mac and cheese, cornbread mixes, cake mixes and icing, instant potatoes, or stuffing mixes.
