Jacqueline Thomas Grace Jacqueline Thomas Grace, 94 of Sullivan, formerly of Decatur, passed away Friday, March 21, 2025, in the Arthur Home.Services to celebrate Jacqueline’s life will be held at 11 am Wednesday, March 26, 2025, in the Graceland/Fairlawn Funeral Home. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services. Interment will be in Macon County Memorial Park, Harristown. Memorial are suggested to the donor’s choice. Jacqueline was born on July 11, 1930, in Decatur, the daughter of Herschel “Jack” and Ruth (Kerns) Sattley. Williamee The free Shrove Tuesday Breakfast at Sullivan’s First United Methodist Church drew a good crowd despite the uncooperative weather. This was their first pancake breakfast since the pandemic. Sullivan School Board discusses budget, updates building status

Williamee The Sullivan CUSD #300 school board held its regularly scheduled meeting on Monday, March 10th, beginning with updates from the National English Honor Society (NEHS) and the National Honor Society (NHS). NEHS has a few more weeks remaining with their pen pal letters at the elementary schools. They will finish this project with an in-person event to meet their pen pals. Also discussed was re-opening the donation box on the square, and adding food items again as the weather improves. The Moultrie-Douglas County Fair Pageant will be held Monday, July 27th at 6:00 p.m. for Little Miss Fair Queen and 7:00 p.m. for Miss and Junior Miss Fair Queen located at the south track on the Mo-Do Fairgrounds. Vying for the title of Miss Moultrie Douglas Fair Queen are: Abigail Meyer of Tuscola, Addee Mulligan of Arcola, Sarah Rogers of Atwood, Ava Whitson of Tuscola, Addisyn Wilson of Villa Grove, Emma Spillman of Tuscola, Aymara Leal of Arcola and Katilyn Kirby of Sullivan.
