2015 Former Arthur Junior High English and high school speech teacher Judy Godfrey was in Sullivan March 2 for the Fortnightly Book Club’s special event as the guest speaker. Godfrey talked about her first novel titled “Finding Rose”. The traveling exhibition Cultivating Creativity 2014-2015: Consolidated Communications Children’s Art Exhibit continued its tour by coming to Sullivan at the Elizabeth Titus Memorial Library. The board learned that Central Illinois Public Transit had provided 747 rides for citizens in the last year. The scholarship program is in its 24th consecutive year and Mediacom’s investment will award $1,000 World Class Scholarships to 60 high school seniors.
