•November 25, 2020• Lake Shelbyville- The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers at Lake Shelbyville would like to remind public land users of upcoming trail closure dates. Camp Camfield, General Dacey Mountain Bike Trail and the Illini Trail are all closed to any non-hunting users or activities for the duration of first and second firearm deer season as well as muzzleloader season. Sandra Lowry Sandra K. Lowry completed her service to this world on Friday November 20th, 2020. Not wanting to trouble anyone she drove herself to Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, IL, and passed of a sudden heart attack. My mom was 68. She was brought into this world by her loving parents Bob and Betty (Burk) Robbins April 16th, 1952; also in Shelbyville. Sparrows Unlimited To Hold Annual Auction Online Due To COVID-19

Each year the organization holds an auction, however this year instead of being an event to attend in person it will be held online. According to Pam Anklam, president of Sparrows Unlimited they gather items from businesses and people in the community to sell during the auction.
